How it works
Each place to be monitored - doorway, passageway, or other designated area - is fitted with a sensor which is triggered by people/vehicles passing. This information is then stored on a central database including details about which sensor has been triggered and, crucially, the timestamp. This allows the reporter to show you a complete profile of visitor movement.

Hardware
We offer a range of sensors to cater for most situations...
- A simple pressure mat can be fitted under an existing carpet
- Single beam units can cover a wider area
- Dual beam units can distinguish between people/vehicles entering or leaving
- Proximity devices where using a reflective beam is impractical
The sensors can be connected to a display for simple manual recording, or can
be connected to a computer for automatic recording and all of the reporting and
analasys features described below. Connection can be a simple wired connection, or
can use wireless modules for convenience. We have short-range wireless modules for
general purpose use, and long-range modules for more remote sensors.

Software
The software suite transforms a basic manual counter and list of numbers into a
management tool, allowing you to analyse trends and utilise your resource to the
best effect. Rather than a single number at the end of each day - which someone must
remember to write down - the software records data throughtout the day (normally every
5 minutes) so you can see exactly when the counts occurred. You can see the profile for
each day, week, month, or year - allowing you to see the busiest days, seasonal trends,
etc.
